Aside from my education, credentials and over 20 years of professional experience in the field, and as an only child, I lived the eldercare experience with my parents before their passing. I am an empathetic, kind, compassionate, and patient person. I am a fierce advocate for older adults and their families. I say what I do and do what I say. I pride myself on high ethical standards and timely follow-up. I derive personal fulfillment as a result of working tirelessly and thinking ‘outside-of-the-box’ to provide solutions.
I have my BS in Music Education and worked in the corporate world for a number of years. One day I read an article written by the late Hugh Downs, which was published in “Parade” magazine. He wrote about a subject called gerontology. Mr. Downs had earned a post-master’s certificate in gerontology. Two paragraphs into the article and I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up!
